Shatema Gresham
Founder and CEO, Shatema Gresham is an Arizona native with deep roots professionally within the corporate sector. Shatema started her career in healthcare working in Central Scheduling at Phoenix Memorial Hospital through a school-to-work program while in high school. From there she would later move to Registration Clerk within the Emergency Room. While attending Grand Canyon University, Shatema worked for St. Joseph Hospital in their staffing department. Upon graduation, with her bachelor’s degree in Science in Human Biology she was given the opportunity to open a brand-new hospital in the East Valley, called Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. It was here that she was exposed to the ins and outs of Human Resource, high volume staffing, organizational development, and direct leadership experience from the Chief Nursing Officer. After successfully leaving healthcare, Shatema would later go to work with several Fortune 500, Forbes, and national ranking companies such as Manpower, Aerotek, Fiserv, Freedom Financial Network serving in a leadership capacity. Before deciding to move forward in running her own business an opportunity to work in an emerging new industry became available. That industry was Cannabis. As a strategic HR leader, Shatema was responsible for creation and strategic partnership to help grow an upcoming cannabis company Harvest Health and Recreation.
