Shatema Gresham

Founder and CEO, Shatema Gresham is an Arizona native with deep roots professionally within the corporate sector. Shatema brings 20+ years of experience in Human Resources and Talent Management with a specific skill in identifying workplace challenges in processes while creating attainable solutions. 


Shatema started her career in healthcare in 2001 as a staffing coordinator, this role eventually lead to a Staffing Manager for Dignity Healthcare. As the Staffing Manager, Shatema had the unique opportunity  to staff , hire and onboard the initial 400 employees of a brand new facility in the east valley - Mercy Gilbert Medical Center. It was here that she was exposed to the ins and outs of Human Resource, high volume staffing, organizational development, and direct leadership experience. After successfully leaving healthcare, Shatema would later go to work with several Fortune 500, Forbes, and national ranking companies such as Manpower, Aerotek, Fiserv, Freedom Financial Network serving in a leadership capacity within HR. Before deciding to move forward in running her own business an opportunity to work in an emerging new industry became available. That industry was Cannabis. As a strategic HR leader, Shatema was responsible for creation and strategic partnership to help grow an upcoming cannabis company Harvest Health and Recreation. 

Her PTMG brand has grown exponentially since its inception in 2020 with various clients within a wide range industries and sectors. In addition to overseeing all services provided by PTMG she is also the host of Ingenious Exchange with Shatema podcast, which focuses on meaningful conversations with not only industry leaders but everyday people who are making an impact within their communities. She also serves as the VP of Membership and Professional Development for a non-profit, called The Black HR Society. Which focuses equitable employment and eradicating racism in the workplace.  In her spare time you can find Shatema participating in her passions of mentoring, developing new leaders and helping job seekers secure their next position. 


Procure Talent Management Group was born out of the frustration that I observed while being an HR Professional in the corporate setting. Far too often companies do not invest in their Human Resource department, which is entirely responsible for their greatest asset, the people.
